Fourth Experience : K-pop Lovers, You Gonna Love This!

Image
What a beautiful Sunday! Sun is up, sky is clear, and our tummies are growling. We're at Citraland, fortunately, so our eyes roll over here and roll over there and roll over here again. We walk all over the mall and still can't choose one eatery because our greedy tummies (or eyes). Took a little while to us for standing in front of one eatery. Since one of us never try this eatery and never try Korean food, so it's decided! Mujigae it is! Mujigae is a super modern restaurant with Korean food as its main concept. From outside the restaurant, you will see a full glass looking room with a big screen in front of it as tall as human. It is displaying a woman in hanbok, Korean traditional cloth, smiling and waving to us, who pass by. Yum! When we walk in, we see a giant screen above us, playing K-pop music clip. In a few spot we also  see TV screen playing Korean food channel, which is leveling our appetite up, hypnotizing our eyes, and making us drooling unwittingly.

Third Experience : Move On To Western Food

One night after a long work day we were craving for some good food. So we come downtown and looking for something good to make our gloomy tummy become bright again. After we were sightseeing, and after long debate what kind of food should we pick, we choose western food as dinner. Johnny Rockets it is! Johnny Rockets has appearance like common American diner. Since it is located in Indonesia, Pondok Indah Mall accurately, this American diner looks stand out with mostly red color on it compared to other restaurant around it. You will be greeted with smiles and a big jukebox. We don't know the jukebox is still working or just a decoration. Anyway, we feel treated professionally by the crew who really did their homework such as menu knowledge and awareness to each table equipment. Each table has complete condiments and equipment. You'll find tissues, a bottle full of straws, and condiments like tomato sauce, chili sauce, salt, and ready-to-grind-black-pepper. Mine didn't h

Since last week we have info about this quite famous place named Tokyo Belly. Right after we’ve finished the First Experience, we decided to choose the Belly as our next stopover. Weekend come, then we rush to Grand Indonesia. Walking, walking, walking, RUN! Suddenly it’s raining. And we imagine a bowl of hot meals would be nice to bring our mood up. A giant Daruma welcomes us in front of Tokyo Belly site. Luckily, we’ve got a table directly. Right after we sit, POOF! A long queue of waiting list appears. Too crowded for after-lunchtime, we think. Hope for the best food will loaded our round tummy. Tokyo Belly has an open place dining inside of Grand Indonesia. You can see in from outside without bothering other customers. Wooden plank (look alike) spreading almost all of its wall and makes the place felt warm. You will find the wall are muraled with Japanese things: stork, Japanese letters, daruma, etc. Dim yellow lighting with many origami inspired ornaments adds some comfy to

First Experience : Zhuma

In one lovely evening we are craving for something good after go walking. And here we are, at Cilandak Town Square, South Jakarta. It’s kind a mall full with restaurant and hang out place. We are walking, walking, gazing, and walking again until we find this warm good-looking restaurant. Intense Japanese ambience. It is wrapped by wooden look alike wall with some details and combined with glass and woven rattan. Low lighted at the front façade corridor, but you can see through the glass the warm yellowish lighting inside, makes you want to see and eager more. Ornaments related to Japan. Looks promising, we enter Zhuma. Greeted by big smiles from a friendly waitress, she takes us to non-smoking area as we requested. Once inside we feel the intense Japanese atmosphere. Pictures of Japanese people doing their errands are appeared everywhere, in their menu and on their wall, Japanese umbrella hanging on the ceiling, a wall full of black Japanese roof materials, woo
